How to use the Jing app
Welcome to the Jing self-care app. This is a place where your practitioner can provide you with self-care material specific to you and your situation. You may not see your programme immediately, but it will appear as soon as your practitioner has set it up and it will look something like this:

All you need to do is tap on an item to select it - this will open the media player page (see Fig. 2 below). Here you can tap the play button at the top to open video/audio/text files. There might be associated articles so look out for links to those below.

For some items, there is a suggested schedule (see the bottom of Fig. 2 above). To keep track of your progress, simply tick the box each time you complete your exercise/routine. When you’re fully up to date with an item, a tick will appear next to it on the welcome page (see Fig. 3 below).

This feature is included because you are much more likely to get positive results if you follow your programme regularly. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your programme because there are too many items, just tell your practitioner and they can trim it down. They can always add to it or edit it at a later date.

Tap the cog icon in the bottom right corner to access the settings menu (see Fig. 4 below). Here you can change your password, make adjustments to your notification/reminder settings (via ‘Profile Settings’ and ‘Notification’), and log out.

Your practitioner has access to self-massage routines, acupressure points, qigong exercises, meditations, dietary advice, recipes and more, so ask them if you have specific areas of interest and they can adapt your programme. Good luck with your journey towards better health.
